It is time to get off the couch. At this moment the chapters of the decline and fall of America are being written. The Tea Party has seized the Republican Party and the rest of the party has been mute. The insanity of the Government shutdown shows how oblivious the Tea Party is to the real world. Spending on infrastructure, R & D, education and much more has been slashed. The middle class is being destroyed. Greed runs rampant in the circles of the Ultra Rich. The current direction is taking America down.

I wonder where we go from here. I believe that the American Political system is incredibly corrupt. I believe that a majority of people believe this. In order to take this country in a new way what can we do ?

In the WSJ today in an article titled " A Tougher Stand on CEOs With Bad Returns" A quote " It is bad optics to pay out at the maximum level when total shareholder return is negative" These people are in another world. Bad friggin' OPTICS ?!?! It is criminal behavior. Pay yourself huge money when shareholder return is negative. At every turn it is time to call these people on bad behavior. In every possible way do not support companies that do this. Hit them in the pocketbook. They obviously have no conscience.

Then they have the guts to talk about we need to reduce government spending. If you think the Congress is corrupt, it is. It is so much worse than you can imagine. PS are you a tax payer ? You get the bill for this. If you don't like to "get down in the weeds" this is not for you. If you have high blood pressure or are easily excited don't read this. If you will shrug your shoulders and sit on your ass don't bother. Waiting for somebody else to take action, you are part of the problem. If you want to begin a quest to change the way government is done like this post, share your thoughts with your friends. Ask your Congress persons what gives. If you don't get involved, you deserve the government that is stealing you blind.
